International Cosmetic Surgery: A Comprehensive Guide for a Smoother Journey

Why I Wrote This Book
My journey with cosmetic surgery began in the late 1990s. Over the years, I've experienced several procedures, researched countless options, and learned some valuable lessons, occasionally the hard way!
But the idea for this book came from something I never expected.
After sharing my before-and-after facelift photographs in a social media group, the response was overwhelming. Suddenly, I was receiving questions from people who wanted to know everything. How did I choose my surgeon? What was recovery really like? How did I prepare? What would I do differently?
I found myself answering the same questions again and again, and I realized just how many people were looking for practical, straightforward information from someone who had actually been through the experience.
Having spent more than 40 years working in technology, managing complex projects, researching processes, and identifying risks, I approached my own surgeries with the same mindset. I learned that choosing a talented surgeon is only part of the equation. The country, hospital, accommodations, transportation, aftercare, and preparation all matter.
That's when I decided to bring everything together in one book.
International Cosmetic Surgery: A Comprehensive Guide for a Smoother Journey is designed to help both women and men research their options, ask better questions, plan thoughtfully, and prepare for the realities of traveling abroad for plastic surgery.
It's not about telling you where to go or which surgeon to choose. It's about giving you the tools and knowledge to make those decisions for yourself.
